SCY-QNet: StonyBrook-Columbia-Yale Quantum Network

We plan to build a 10-node quantum network, called SCY-QNet, consisting of six QPU systems, three Bell-state-measurement (BSM) clusters, and several entanglement sources distributed across Stony Brook U.\ (SBU), Columbia, Yale, Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), and other locations in Long Island. We envision SCY-QNet as a Virtual Laboratory—a user-configurable shared infrastructure for scientists and engineers to develop and validate research and experiments in quantum communication and computing. We plan to develop workforce programs to create a highly-skilled quantum workforce capable of propelling and participating in quantum-driven economic development in the region. SCY-QNet is currently in Phase-2 (Design) of the NQVL program.
